[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1585836137720{border-top-width: 0px !important;padding-top: 0px !important;}”][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]”Soft Skills” like clear, effective Communication, Listening, Empathy,Emotional Intelligence are invaluable skills that affect your level of success and happiness more than anything else. One of the most valuable “soft skills’ you can learn is Emotional Intelligence or Emotional Quotient (EQ). It is defined as an individual’s ability to identify, evaluate, control, and express emotions.

You need to have a brilliant IQ to be a good engineer, but to be a leader of engineers, your EQ matters more than your IQ. IQ is the intellectual ability to manage ideas, knowledge, and thoughts. EQ is the ability to manage relationships with other people.

Leaders and team players that have a high EQ are considered great because of their ability to understand, empathize, and connect with the people around them. It’s a ‘soft skill’ that can be learned. If you are considering a leadership position and what to learn more about becoming a great leader, my Business Leadership Coaching Program will make that a reality.
